In the spring of 1997, Summit Communication Design was formed offering website development and internet consulting services. Since the start, Summit has served a variety of clients throughout the United States and overseas. The founders, Mark Peesel and Steve Chitwood, have been joined by an expert staff who share their desire to build an advanced web design firm specializing in database integration, e-commerce, application development, website hosting, and graphic and multimedia design.
Today, Summit is making a name for itself in design, application development, and customer support. Summit's dedication to its clients and rapid response to their needs have provided a stable foundation for this growing company. Summit has also joined forces with several complementary firms to offer clients the highest value and service in graphic design, multimedia development, application development, and web development. Summit continues to experience positive growth and high customer satisfaction in its efforts to bring innovation, functionality, and growth to its clients.
Steve Chitwood, Managing Partner
As President and Director of Operations, Steve is responsible for the day-to-day management of Summit and heads Summit's consulting practice, Steve's expertise lies in project and technology management, project conception and systems integration. Steve works with clients and staff developers to design web-based projects using effective technologies. Prior to founding Summit in Denver, Steve worked as a consulting data systems designer and internet technologies specialist the Los Angeles area.
Mark Peesel, Managing Partner
As Vice President and Director of Interactive Services, Mark leverages his expertise in project and team management in managing Summit's client services and client projects. To date, Mark has managed more than 100 web, e-commerce, and intranet projects with Summit. Mark oversees much of the concept design, search management, and database integration. Prior to joining Summit, Mark worked as an intranet and internet developer for StorageTek in Louisville, CO working extensively with the Workforce Development, Human Resources, and Corporate Marketing departments. He has also worked with Great-West Life and Annuity in Englewood, CO developing elements for the Sales and Marketing and Employee Benefits intranet.
Mark is also a member of the Alpine Rescue Team in Evergreen, CO.
